Direct Care Aides and Home Health Aides
Loved Ones Care LLC is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dependable Direct Care Aides (DCAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support adults in their homes and communities.
Our aides help members remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in familiar surroundings. Depending on the member’s individualized care plan, services may include personal care, homemaking, meal preparation, mobility assistance, toileting support, shopping, errands, and companionship.
The ideal candidate is caring, respectful, dependable, and able to work independently while delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist members with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and continence care.
- Provide homemaking support, including light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping.
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility according to the member’s care plan.
- Provide reminders and prompts for meals, hydration, toileting, and other daily needs.
- Offer companionship, social interaction, encouragement, and emotional support.
- Observe and promptly report changes in a member’s physical, mental, or emotional condition.
- Complete visit notes and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow each member’s individualized care plan and all agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment.
- Protect each member’s privacy, dignity, rights, and confidentiality.
- Follow infection-control, emergency-preparedness, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Assist with authorized errands or accompany members in accordance with the care plan and program requirements.
- Work collaboratively with members, families, caregivers, nurses, supervisors, and care coordinators.
Transportation notice: GAFC members use approved transportation services, including insurance transportation when applicable. DCAs do not transport GAFC members in their personal vehicles.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA, HHA, homemaker, personal-care, or other qualifying direct-care training or certification, as applicable to the position.
- Previous experience in home care, personal care, or direct-care services preferred.
- Compassionate and respectful approach to supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Reliable transportation for traveling to assigned work locations.
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and current automobile insurance when driving is required for the position.
- Ability to successfully complete all required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
- Ability to use a smartphone or mobile application for visit documentation and EVV.
- Ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities of the position.
